Charities we support
Capel Military Show was established to create an event that celebrates and showcases the very best of military focused entertainment whilst raising funds for military charities and local projects through direct fundraising and the facilitation of charities onsite.
The Show also provides both static and dynamic displays that promote the work of the UK Military, supports attending Military Reserve units in their recruitment and advertising opportunities and assists the work of the dedicated charities and youth groups that use the event for fundraising.
The show raises approximately £10,000 each year. Among those we support are:

The Not Forgotten - Restoring Dignity, Confidence and Independence to Veterans Since 1920
The Not Forgotten is a 104-year-old charity supporting over 10,000 sick and injured veterans and serving personnel every year.
Our varied year-round programme of social events, outings and respite and challenge breaks brings the serving and veteran community together to improve physical and mental health, reduce isolation and loneliness, and re-establish the camaraderie and peer support veterans so often miss.
Since 1920, we have helped veterans and service personnel of all ages, ranks, backgrounds and disabilities across all three military services and the Merchant Navy.
We are wholly inclusive and non-judgemental; we are not a membership organisation and support individuals with any physical or mental injury or illness, whether acquired in service or developed later as a veteran.
