We’re delighted to announce that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) will once again be flying over the Capel Military Show as part of this year’s event.
Visitors will have two opportunities to witness one of Britain’s most iconic historic aircraft in flight:
- Saturday – 5:00pm
- Sunday – 11:00am
The legendary Hawker Hurricane represents one of the aircraft that defended Britain’s skies during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Seeing and hearing this remarkable aircraft overhead is a truly unforgettable experience and remains one of the highlights of the military show calendar.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight exists to honour the aircrew and ground crews who served during the Second World War by keeping these historic aircraft flying for future generations. Every appearance provides a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice and heritage of those who served.
Whether you’re a lifelong aviation enthusiast or simply looking to experience a unique moment with family and friends, the Hurricane flypast is not to be missed.
As with all historic aircraft displays, flying is subject to weather conditions, operational commitments and aircraft serviceability, but we’re thrilled that the BBMF has confirmed its attendance at this year’s show.
